SHOP CLASS 9/21 – Colors in Your Quilt, Full Day

Let’s talk color! There’s more to color than a color wheel. Come join us for a conversation and new perspective on the colors you put in your quilts. Did you know the colors that you choose, or don’t choose, tell a story about you? They’re like little signposts to learning about what motivates and drives you, along with where you might be stuck or even missing out.

This is a full day class! We’ll spend the morning exploring our use of color in quilts, sharing stories, and learning why some color works and others don’t as we explore the use and meanings of color with, of course, a whole trunk show of quilts to oooh and ahhh over! We’ll look at why you always seem to use the same color palette and what that says about you. There will be tips and insights on making good color choices for you. The afternoon will be spent creating a special project just for you – a fun wall hanging focusing on just one color…and you’ll want to create more than one!

Note: The project pattern is included. There is a $21 kit fee for the project.

You will need your sewing machine, basic sewing kit supplies, and white sewing thread.
